Barbara was born in Eastern Europe, raised and
educated in Western Europe, and has lived the majority
of her life in Canada. An award-winning visual artist
before the age of 16, she became an educator, writer
and residential designer, also raising two sons.

She is an active member of several art associations,
and shows her art in solo shows, group shows and
galleries in Canada and Australia.

Nicknamed "Hurricane Barbara", she is a dynamic
tempest of creative, constructive energy. Her enkindled
intellect yearns for an universal open-mindedness,
where we appreciate the beauty and mystery of
lifeforms.

Her journey as an artist is continually evolving, as she
boldly experiments with new techniques and mediums.
